I find it hilarious how almost every female I met in various MMOs has been the "HEY GUISE DID I MENTION I WAS FEMALE BECAUSE I AM FEMALE YOU GUISE" type of person.
Then there's always the player controlling the cute loli catgirl and typing "liek this tee he ehehe~~ <3" in the guild chat only to announce later that he's a dude named Bill.

Really, the obnoxious outspoken "gurl gamer" thing is very annoying, and I find that most actual long time female gamers are put off by it as well.

Although, male reactions are equally creepy. Look at the comments for any attractive female Youtube gamer (that's not Dodger) and you'll see that half of it is "ur sexy" and "take ur shirt off".
