I'll tell you right now Family Video operates by their own rule set. You don't get breaks, you have to eat on the job whilst working and if you're a smoker you're screwed unless you have a nice co-worker who doesn't mind you sneaking out for a quick one. Even being a DM I never understood how they got around not giving employees breaks for lunch, etc, and I never pressed the issue because in truth, anyone who questioned some of their ethics usually ended up on the chopping block. Especially the store employees.

Meh, it's like everywhere else - you take the good with the bad. Being a part timer is kinda nice because you don't deal with much shit, but management you get shit on from all directions. Upper management is pretty good though - good paycheck and bonuses, plus a pretty good work schedule. It get's old though, and IMO it's a crumbling industry anyway. More and more people switch to Netflix and Redbox and whatever else to rent movies, and games are slowly moving away from the rental model as well.

Yeah we have pretty different taste in games. I wish they weren't so expensive but w/e.

I never had any interest in the Saturn - Sega lost me after the Sega CD era, and the Saturn was just kinda "meh". My roomie my freshman year in college had the system, and I only ever played Nights and Panzer Dragoon on it. Both pretty "meh" in my opinion. I do like Shining Force games though, is that what you're playing?

Shining Wisdom is a pretty bad Zelda type game. By bad I mean average, I'd give it like a 6/10. I do have Shining Force III as well though, which is a sweet game. Unfortunately it was broken up into 3 parts and we only got the first one in the US, so I'm having to import the other two.
