I've been hearing Crimson Shroud (latest Matsuno game) is pretty good. It's a download-only title though, so keep that in mind.

Also have you played 999 on the DS? If so it has a sequel on 3DS called 極限脱出ADV 善人シボウデス (localized as Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward).

I'm playing that on my Vita now. Never played 999 but I guess they both follow the same novel + puzzles formula with a bunch of different endings to the story. Ideal for a portable even if you don't have too much time to play.

EDIT: if I recall correctly, there's a demo in the 3DS eShop if you want to give ZE:VLR a try, Elly.

I never played VLR, but aren't you confused by the story? As far as I know it's more or less a direct sequel that builds upon the predecessor's plot and expects you to have played 999.

I had a friend that would read random books from various series out of order.

I'm sure it's okay as a standalone game though. I liked 999 but have not gotten around to play VLR yet.

Default Looking for a good list of translations.....

I'm looking for a list of games on older system, no newer than N64, that have the text translated but without the localization, specifically ones that came to the US, yes those already have an english release but due to localization many things get edited for americam release, which for some reason just bugs the crap out of me, i just wish to play some games how they were intended by the creators of said game before people like Nintendo of America decided to butcher them, i dont understand much about emulation other than how to run and enjoy the emulators. also are european releases just as butchered as american releases? some body please inform me, cause if they arent watered down i guess i can try those instead.
thanx in advance for help or suggestions!

I can read Japanese, so text heavy games are fine too. And I never actually got around to playing Metal Gear Solid 3, so it's a new game to me. ._. Thanks again~ :3

Oh! I forgot about that. Thanks. It's Matsuno, so I'm most certainly interested. In Japan, it was actually released as a retail title along with three other games (Guild01). I think the followup, Guild02, was download only here too, though.

I never did, but I can probably find the original as well. Were you a fan?

Yep. You must absolutely unlock the true ending, though, otherwise it's almost not worth playing. It's a very slow buildup with nothing but foreshadowing along the way, but when you do get to the final ending and everything is revealed, your mind = blown.

It can be played without having played 999, no problem there. But it's also true that some parts of the original story are kind of revealed.. there are some minor/major references here and there to make you want to play 999 to know more about the links between both games.

To edit profile picture go to "Settings" (Up-right corner), and then go to "Edit Profile Picture" (on the left side). You can choose picture from your computer as well. This picture can be seen only on your profile page. To edit your avatar (which can be seen everytime you post something) go to "Settings" and then go to "Edit Avatar".

so i was playing kingdom hearts birth by sleep, and i am like "i like the game series maybe i should try the other games" but the problem is, i suck at action/adventure games. so my question is, will grinding in this game help?

I'm horrible at action/adventure games too. It's so hard to mention you like games in conversation these days without COD or other similar things that I'm awful at being brought up.

Anyway, I'm looking for some good games for Android. I bought an ipega controller, but I can't the get right side buttons to work with my phone (S3). I've tried a bunch of things and have found really the only solution is to root it, which might not even help but in any case will void my warranty, which I don't want to do. So I've given up on the idea of good proper Android emulation right now with the exception of GB Pokemon (can anyone recommend a better app than Gameboy Color A.D. ? I'm sick of losing my game every time I put my phone down) and I was just looking for some good games on GBC/A to keep me entertained that don't require quick response on the controls. And/or just some other good Android games that are on the market, preferably free but I'll pay $1 or $2 for something good. I don't want anything that requires further payment throughout the game or has super ridiculous permissions.

Anytime anybody asks for a decent game on an Android I point out Game Dev Story:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...oid.gamedev3en

I'm pretty sure I pirated it easily back when my phone wasn't rooted. You just need to load up a apk.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

I kind of like Race Illegal III and CSR Racing if you're into racing games for the Android.
    They're also free.
