17 home consoles, not including console revisions, but including my consolized 4-slot NeoGeo MVS. Then I have 5 different handheld consoles. For a total of 22 different video game consoles.

I absolutely love that movie. A lot of people I know seem to really rake it over the coals for whatever reason. I've not read the comic/graphic novel, but like you said I've heard the movie is very faithful.

Whoops, miscounted. I actually own 18 different home consoles. For a total of 23. Although if you take into consideration revisions/duplicate systems. The total is a whopping 39 consoles. So you know I'm serious when I say I am truly running out of room.

I loved the film, from what I heard about how the graphic novel ends how the film was adapted makes a lot of sense.

oh it's NM CIB, but I don't think I'll part with it anytime soon. In fact I've been thinking about expanding my Saturn collection. I think that there are at least partial fan translations for the second and third scenarios. As well as the special disc. Check Shining Force Central for info on the previously mentioned patches.

What game was it that you sold?

Yeah understandable. I'm just getting back into Saturn though I found a nice surprise today, I kept all my US disc only games from the last time as well. I was digging around for my PS1 Gameshark Lite which I didn't end up finding. This is what happens when you have to put junk into storage. I have a surprisingly low amount of junk though. I try to recycle or give away the junk I get in lots.

Anyway it probably is fan translated, but I'd rather just play in Japanese from the actual game discs. Gives me an excuse to buff up.

Yeah I used to be into that but then I got rid of the ridiculous consoles that I would never play. It is a cool thing to do though, a friend of mine has nearly every console (not counting variants of course), just missing completely ridiculous stuff like FM Towns Marty and the N64 Disc System.
