It's alright, I just can't wait for vacation. Even though I still have to put a bookshelf together so that I can put my games and movies into it.

Also, collection pics ahead. I apologize for the blurriness, damn cell phone cameras.

    Spoiler warning:

I'll have to take some better pics sometime when I have my hands on a decent camera.
    nice collection seriously.

Why use a Xbox as the core? why not a old PC?

Heh, thanks man! 10+ years of collecting!

For one, it's cheap, dirt cheap. Two, I already know how to wire arcade controls to an XBOX. I don't have a clue how I would do it to a PC. Although I suppose I could get some XBOX/PS2-> USB adapters. Although the great majority of them have button lag. :/

I've only read that they cause button lag. I haven't actually had a chance to test it out myself personally though. On top of the MAME cab, I really want to make a dedicated PS2 or Dreamcast cabinet. Some good Fighters/SHMUPS on both systems.

Damn, I'm really tempted to buy a couple NeoGeo MVS carts I saw on eBay. Kabuki Klash, which isn't on my 161-in-1 for $24 shipped. As well as a Metal Slug 2 cart for $39 shipped. Both have original intact labels. The MS2 one is even a low 3-digit serial number. So damn tempting...
