I think I realized this last E3. I never really followed them before that, but yeah... they're definitely not aimed at us anymore. Especially people like you and Gypsy, who are definitely more interested in the niche titles than I am.
All I know is that I wasn't interested in the Nextbox before I knew anything about it, but was keeping a somewhat open mind in case they brought something to the table that really interested me. After reading the highlights from this conference... my interest is almost zero. I'll probably get a PS4 the year after it comes out (once there are a couple of titles to grab), and I might still snag a WiiU at some point for Dallas and I to play, but there is absolutely no reason for me to buy a Nextbox.
I think them getting the "casual" crap out of the way is part of it, so that they can make some of the "big" announcements during E3, but I think that's more wishful thinking than anything else. E3 will hold a couple of big announcements, but I think they let most of the cats out of the bag here.
I hope they prove me wrong.
Also,
Spoiler warning:
My first post is gone forever![]()
So is mine. I know exactly what thread it is in, but I can't seem to find anything of mine earlier than June/July 2002.
My first post was a request to find the download links in a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night thread. The post with the links were somewhere around Page 10 if you were using the standard post count per page, but I was using something different and couldn't find them until someone told me what post number it is.
