Just Googled it myself. There are three different trophy sets for the game, though. NA, EU and JP.

Yeah my friend was chatting to me yesterday about people having two sets of Demons souls trophies. He thought it was because Demons souls came on to PS+ and people who already played it would get another set of trophies.

I've thought about it, but that's a pretty difficult game to get the in three times. Even with some of the item glitches, it's still quite the dedication.
