Ohhhh jealous. Zombie Nation is a great game

It's also one of the more expensive games for the NES.

A quick look through completed auctions on eBay shows similar conditioned copies selling for ~$220 in the US. With people that actually ship to Canada, it seems to be selling around $250-$300.

Bought a PS3 last weekend so I figured I'd pick up the Metal Gear HD Collection. Then I got to thinking, and I realised I didn't own Metal Gear Solid, I'd only ever borrowed it. How gosh darned convenient it was when I stumbled across and then won a pristine condition PAL copy with the OST for just £11 off of eBay.

Finally decided to jump back into NES collecting today! Picked up all of this today for the low low price of free!

Nothing special really, but it's a start.

Here's the list:

Four NES consoles one has a door missing.
Four original NES controllers and one Dogbone controller
Two Zappers, one grey one orange
A NES Advantage controller
And a Suncom Analog Edge joystick that can also be used with a IBM or Apple PC. Booyah!

Have yet to test any of the consoles to see if they work because none of them came with an AC adapter

Paperboy
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

And two Legend of Zelda Gold carts. One of which is a 5 screw variant. But it's also the one with a damn sticker on the label.

Just pulled the trigger on a rare Phantasy Star III Korean Super Gamboy(Mega Drive) Version. Should be a unique addition to the PS collection.

Apparently I just bought Contra Force CIB. It's in really good condition, although the box has a couple of dents and cuts. It will be difficult to see all of the damage until I actually get it in my hands, so I'll hold off judgement on whether I overpaid or not. The price I paid is about average, maybe a tiny bit under, but by no means an outright steal.

By far the easiest to Platinum out of that collection. MGS2 is very time consuming (top rank on all VR missions, and EVERY dog tag on all Difficulties) and Peace Walker you'll need a buddy to get some of the trophies. Good luck!

Nice. I platinumed MGS2 and 3, but Peacewalker I'm stuck at around 85% or so. The stuff I'm missing is all due to getting camaraderie levels with one person for online play - which basically means you need to keep playing with the same person to build up your rank.

We should play Peace Walker soon Flava! I just beat Deadly Premonition (on topic: my latest purchase) and am currently not playing anything but Dark Souls. I think I'll pop in PW later today and starting getting the hang of everything again.
