Here's my progress on the "Onyx" custom NES I'm working on. I left the top of the case and the flip-top lid flat black. I'm planning on painting something on those parts. Although I'm kinda liking the contrast between the flat and high-gloss black. Everything else is done and finished with 3 coats of lacquer though. For a high-gloss sheen.

That looks damn cool. This one is definitely more to my taste. Subtle but sleek.
