THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
Metal Slug 2 is done! I was doing great at first. Didn't die at all through the first 3 levels. Then it all kind of fell apart towards the end. Ended up with 10 continues @ level 4 difficulty. Time to snag me something to eat. Then get ready to play one of the best in the series, Metal Slug 3.![]()
I'll have to work out what I'm still missing after doing the third run. I have the feeling I'm going to get fucked over on the weapon upgrades. There are some I haven't come across the pure stones for yet (which I would have assumed I would have done already) I still have to go onto Dark souls after this![]()
Some of the pure stones you will only come across if you deliberately seek them out. They aren't in obvious locations, and some of them are rare drops from Crystal Lizards or Black Phantoms.
Christ, the Leafs are getting their asses handed to them by the Bruins right now.
As much as I hate the Leafs, I really do want them to make it to the second round, with the hope that we can get a Habs/Leafs series.
Fuck the Leafs and the Bruins. GO THRASHERS!!!
I got the impression that they really didn't get that much love while they were there. I think people enjoyed the concept of a team in Atlanta, but never really took advantage of going to see games. I know they had huge attendance issues, and they were essentially bleeding money and in massive debt. They did what they could to keep the team in Atlanta, but no one was willing to buy them.
From what I've read, even the team leaving was given almost no attention. Where as Winnipeg is still partying about getting their beloved Jets back, and the team is going to get a lot more love up north than they ever will in Atlanta.
That makes the second NHL team that we've stolen from you, though. The Atlanta Flames became the Calgary Flames back in the '80s. So... whoops. We just fucking love hockey up here.
To be fair, bringing two teams into Alberta has given us one of the greatest rivalries in modern NHL history. The last few years have been rather meh 'cause both of the teams have been awful, but the Battle of Alberta during the '80s and '90s was always awesome to watch.
That being said, I'm really hoping there's a Canucks/Blackhawks series this playoff. Those two teams hate each other, and it makes for fucking mesmerizing hockey.
Keep me posted! I'm heading out, g'night!
