Yes, you should. Especially since you have PS+, you already get about $100 worth of games for free... more if you don't have a PSP.

For me, it was a great buy since I never owned a PSP, so I have lots of shit to play. Granted, I spend more time with PSP and PS1 titles on it than actual Vita titles, but some of the cross-buy stuff is killer, and the Vita is a sexy system. I just hope it starts taking off soon...

The first R&C leaves a bit to be desired. I enjoyed the Collection, but the series really didn't pick up for me until R&C3. Really, my favourite title is Tools of Destruction. Hands down the best R&C game that I've played.

I'm borrowing that from him, I honestly just can't get into it.

As soon as there's a price drop, I'm going to pick one up. $250 is a bit too much to justify right now, even if I already have a library of titles between cross-buy and PS+. I'll probably pick one up when they drop down to $199, unless I make an impulse purchase.

Since I'm playing them completely out of order, I'm gonna find it hard to top Crack in Time. However, what I played of ToD, I really liked so far. Did you see that they're making a full blown theatrical movie due for 2015? I think RC lends itself well to that environment - it's kind of kiddie, yet adult at the same time.... as long as they go a Shrek-ish route I think the movie could be fantastic.

I don't think the price point is really that bad for the system, it's the memory cards that piss me off to no end. I got lucky and grabbed a 32 gig for half off last week at Best Buy, but they are WAY overpriced. The system is far and away better than the 3DS, but that's neither here nor there

I still need to play the demo. I'm still on an older firmware though, so I can use Custom Firmware Enabler. Although I'm pretty bored of that and I have a bunch of Vita games stacking up on my PS3 because of PS+.

What can you do with custom firmware?? I'm not savvy on any Vita homebrew or anything... I didn't even think it was hacked or anything yet.

I actually picked one up second-hand at Gamestop for $179.99. It had a perfect no-scratch screen with a protector already applied. Basically brand new, just without the box, manuals, etc.

Yeah, I saw the trailer for that. I'm hopelessly optimistic, but it's so far away that I'm sure I'll forget about it and be surprised again when they start showing shit about it next year.

Honestly, though, I really hope they pull this off. It could be fantastic.

    I'm cheap.

I could pick one up at work and get my 10% off, I suppose.

Michael Rennie was ill the day the earth stood still
But he told us where we stand
And Flash Gordon was there in silver underwear
Claude Raines was the invisible man
Then something went wrong for Fay Wray and King Kong
They got caught in a celluloid jam
Then at a deadly pace it came from outer space

High 5 to anyone who knows this song

It's just on the PSP side. So you can play PSP ISOs and homebrew. It's cool and all, and PSP games look really nice scaled on the Vita's screen. But I already have 2 PSPs, so I guess if I really want to play PSP ISOs/Homebrews I can just use one of those.

I've thought about that as well, but I'm not sure what they're going for at EB here second-hand. I bought a Gameboy Advance second hand years ago and it was in such horrendous shape that I kept telling myself I'd never buy a second hand system again. Then again, if there's an $80 price difference, I'd be okay with that.

Is that how the message ran?

It's just asinine that I bought a 500 HDD for $69 for my PS3, and it cost me $30 for 32 gigs (half off) for that damned memory stick. Bullshit if you ask me
