Game Purchases Thread

Full Frontal Assault is a mixture between tower defense and seek-and-destroy missions. It's not meant as a full title, so it's pretty cheap to pick up. I got mine Day 1 for $30, I believe. Great game. Also, if you're enjoying Crack in Time, you'll probably love Tools of Destruction. I felt ToD was the best title on the PS3.

I remember reading an article about the lead developer on Dragon Fantasy a while ago, when it came out for iOS/Android. It got good to positive reviews back then, and they've added a "16-bit" mode to "spruce it up" for the consoles. The general consensus that I've heard is that if you like the old NES/SNES RPGs like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, you'll probably really enjoy this. From the storyline, it sounds very similar to Dragon Warrior IV. I'll probably put up one of my little mini-reviews once/if I beat it.

I ordered ToD since I couldn't find it anywhere, but the store I was at had Full Frontal and Quest for Booty I believe. I always wanted to play ToD, but it was one of those games that came out at a bad time - I think Uncharted had just come out, Mass Effect was right around the corner and I believe Orange Box was taking up all my time. After a while I just forgot about it, and here it is almost 6 years later and I'm getting around to it

Hey, at least as soon as I beat one, I still have 4 or more to pick from!

As for Dragon Fantasy, I'm going to grab it. I love NES/SNES era RPGs, and besides, I like supporting the Indie devs. They're making better games than the big boys, for the most part

The Sly Collection. (PS3.)

Sly collection is going on sale for PS+ members on 4/30. I'm so picking it up - it's $14.69 or something, and the individual games are less than $5 each. You feel burned yet?

And so are both God of War collections (1 and 2 and the two PSP games). Both sets are less than $10. Tomorrows gonna be a good day!

I went a little nuts with the PSN sale today, but it was totally worth it.
First off, I got Soul Sacrifice, so Gypsy, add me on PSN and I'll play with you sometime later this week. PSN same as my username here.
And now for the nine remaining titles:
Far Cry Blood Dragon - fucking awesome, if you like 80's action movies and schlock sci-fi. It's a riot.
Sly Cooper HD collection (1,2 and 3)
God of War HD Collection (1 and 2) - already had these on disc, but I'm converting to digital... gotta fill up this new HDD
God of War Origin Collection (both PSP games)
Ratchet and Clank Future Quest for Booty

After all said and done, all 10 games only cost $97 and some change. Soul Sacrifice was the most expensive ($35), but everything else had a nice discount attached to it. I love you PSN
