Ah, yes. Riding as the jockey on a giant chicken was pretty sweet, especially when you go with minimal stalls and inbreed a super-fast, nigh-uncontrollable race-chicken.

I just realised it's been more than ten years that I've been a member here now. So surreal. Honestly, I can't believe I'm still here. A good number of my friends here have moved on, I've more or less abandoned every other forum I ever posted at, and I've felt for a little while now that I'm mostly done with videogames as a hobby. :'D It's kind of surprising that I've stuck around for so long.

Thinking back on it, though, EP has honestly been one of the only constants in my life over the ten years since I registered here. I'm not even remotely the same person I was back then. I live on the opposite side of the world, I learned a foreign language which I probably use more than my native one now, I'm really happy and have tons of friends where I used to have none, I took a decision I thought I'd never be able to take which changed and continues to change my entire life with each day... Heck, even my real name is different now to what it was then. I guess maybe I continue to come here because it has been, in many ways, something of an anchor to some semblance of reliability and stability as my life has run again and again into uncharted territory. At this point, I think it's probably fair to assume that as long as EP exists, I'll be here in some capacity.

Just noticed I've been here 10 years since January...I hardly post now, I seem to just come to EP out of habit.
