SSF: Panzer Dragoon Saga, can't get past intro FMV?

Trying to run Panzer Dragoon Saga on SSF with the bin/cue I got from this site. I can launch the game just fine, but once the intro FMV starts playing, I can't do anything. If I hit the start button on my controller, I get thrown back to the BIOS menu. If I sit and wait for the entire intro FMV to finish, I get thrown back to the BIOS menu.

Can't seem to find a solution to this problem. Any ideas? I'm using the latest version, 0.12 beta R3.

You can also scan the disc image and see if that has any sort of issues

Use CD-Mage for that

I have played this game myself with SSF though do not remember what version I was using at the time

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately, I'm still having the same problem on version 0.11 alpha R5.

-I've tried both versions of the game available on emuparadise (US and EU) but I still can't get past the intro FMV.

-I've tried using different virtual drives (Virtual CloneDrive, Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%)

No idea what it could be. :/

Did you try the CD-Mage thing????

D-Tools Lite is more than enough for ALL your virtual drive needs

The PAL version also works with SSF

I checked back on an older thread at the time I only had the PAL version to test with (I own a Saturn but it's PAL so obviously to avoid issues I have a PAL copy)

That copy worked in the latest version of SSF so should the NTSC version but if the cd image is corrupt then no it wont hence I said try the CD-Mage thing (full ifo in the guides stuck thread in this section)

Sorry, forgot to try CD-Mage.

I tried checking the US version with CD-mage, but I think it might be corrupted. I couldn't even open the file (kept getting errors).

I was able to check the EU version though, and everything seems to be fine with that one. Scanned it for corruption, but it said the image had no errors.

No errors = good lol just make sure to set the correct region in SSF

check the cue sheet for the US version it prolly has a path set in it that should be removed (notepad can open it)

e.g.

FILE "F:/somefolder/nameofbin.bin" BINARY

change that to

FILE "nameofbin.bin" BINARY

Yep the correct region is set and everything. Using the EU bios with the Area Code set to Europe.

The cue file seems to be useless though. I changed that line in the notepad like you mentioned, but I can't mount the cue file using any of the virtual drives, I can only mount the bin file. I'll mount the bin file on a virtual drive, I'll start SSF up, and I can get to the intro FMV (before the start menu). After that, I'll just get thrown back to the SSF BIOS menu. Never lets me get any farther. :/

I have the same problem... Can't get pass the FMV. Tried both European and US version. Tried all versions of SSF. Tried using and not using BIOS. Tried different configs and tried applying all methods from this thread... But all in vain.
got an idea?

Not sure why support stopped here, may of just been away and just forgot about it, but this game runs just fine for me, I am sure I know what issue is though as I have been testing while waiting for your new thread to be posted and managed to get the same issue, took some doing though .
