Welp, well past the halfway point in Darksiders on hard. Going to the spider place. Only 5 hours. Not a bad morning. Fuck I'm really kicking myself for not doing it on hard to begin with. Shit is way too easy.

You'll feel that way about a few games. Some of them are insane on Hard mode, and some of them are ridiculously easy. There are some games I wish I had down two playthroughs of (Bioshock 1, for example) and some where hard mode was so easy it wasn't even funny (Darksiders, Uncharted 2, etc).
Damn. Don't you hate it when you have too much media to go through?
Anyhow, beer store and then my Happy day Diehard marathon with lotsa munchies. Think I'll leave that plat til tomorrow.

I think I'm gonna play on hard from now on for most current gen stuff (if the hardest difficulty is unlocked from the start of course) Barring certain games like fighters and really old HD shit like Earthworm Jim - shit is insane.
Started New Vegas right off the bat on Hardcore but then again considering how well I know the game from before I shouldn't be playing anything less.
Wedding party aftermath, surprisingly I'm not too hungover. Awesome night last night and my date was gorgeous as hell! Must've had at least 8 people come up to me and say just how hot she was.![]()
...
No more boring "red X" avatar.
And g'night Emuparadisians.
... Maybe that should be a name for all members from here
Oh, and I'm not angry, but my avatar is.
Just for some clarification.![]()

Here's a pic of me looking dapper with my date.
Spoiler warning:
I'll probably never be dressed that nice again in my life. Unless I end up getting married again.I've really liked this girl for a while. She said she had a great time, so that's a plus! Hoping to spend some time with her again real soon.
Yeah, NHL Gamecenter is cheaper this year with the shortened season. $50 is a damn good deal if you ask me.
Also, the spiritual successor to Nintendo Power, Nintendo Force, is actually taking subscriptions if you're interested.
Indeed!![]()
You suave motherfucker.
Since it's only $50 for the shortened season, I'm definitely going to use this time to see if I actually enjoy it or not. I'm still unsure about whether I'm going to resubscribe next yea, but the quality of the stream seems good and it hasn't given me any problems yet. I'm watching the Oilers/Bluejackets game right now, which I wouldn't be able to do otherwise. So that gives me a bit of a boner.
I'll have to take a look at Nintendo Force. This was the fan-based one that they started working on shortly after NP died, isn't it? I remember hearing about it a couple months ago, then I forgot to keep track of the project. $30/year for a print subscription seems like a pretty good deal, though.![]()
It's always nice to be able to watch games you normally wouldn't be able to because of airing restrictions. Do you know how much it is normally? Plus, was watching some hockey during some downtime before the wedding. Penguins lost and the Flyers won, made a great day even better!
Yeah, I think it's the fan-based one. The first issue is on Magcloud for purchase. I went ahead and bought the first issue and signed up for a year subscription. I got a free digital version of the first issue with my purchase of the print version. So I'll take a look at it and let you know if it's any good. $30 for a year isn't too bad though.
Finished ME3 again. Got the good ending...controlled the reapers and everyone on the Normandy survived. Got to see the memorial ceremony, and Shepard's final comments.
Awesome![]()
Definitely let me know how it is. I'm intrigued by it, but fan-based stuff can be hit or miss. When it's good it's great, but when it's bad it's absolute shit.
I can't remember how much it is regularly, but I want to say somewhere around $150. I think there are certain points where you can sign up and get a bit of a deal on it, but I'm not entirely sure. You can also sign up on "payment plans" which might be a bit more expensive, but make it a more manageable price to pay. I think those are $25/month, give or take.
