    -Fully region modded a Mega Drive 1.
    -Finished fixing the audio on a Retro Duo.
    -Replaced some failing capacitors in a NES.

    Just do what I do: get an empty box, and pretend it is filled with money.

    Simple one-knob amp or complex multi-capable multi-instrument amp?
    Wanna etch the board yourself? I recently designed one if your interested in the Eagle schematic files.
    This is my stereo amp that I was going to put into an atari 2600 with built-in speakers. If you only want mono in/out then you can just ignore one of the op-amps:

    Still pretty new to all this stuff so I'll probably go with some sort of kit first. A Marshall Plexi copy would be so cool to build. Relatively straightforward circuit and you can mod the shit out of them later, 80s hair metal style.

    Ok, definitely more difficult than what I designed, but much much more practical.
