That was my original plan. Until my dad fixed my car. So, now I'm thinking maybe I should save up some money and wait till the end of the semester to get an apartment.

Go to Turbo Tax and use their free efile option. It's easy and if you can, you should set up a direct deposit to get it even faster.

Going to be getting a decent chunk this year myself. Been pondering what I want to spend it on too...Maybe I should finally buy an eeprom writer setup. At least I'd be able to buy everything I'd need all at once.

TurboTax, huh? I normally let my parents file it for me, but seeing as they split idk who is doing it this year.
As for the eeprom writer...don't get Willem. First I bought a clone-Willem which gave me problems, then I finally got an official Willem from Sivava but I am still getting the same errors.
I will still be able to answer any of your tech questions, but for the time being, I am not burning Genesis carts.

That's about the only Final Fantasy game I've enjoyed so far.

    Or finished. Love that game.

I had a lot of trouble with him. Eventually you'll figure it out, you just have to shoot him basically as soon as the option becomes available to make him drop the rock. Also, make sure to save the the explosive barrels for when the zombie-dudes come out to make dealing with them a lot easier. I think I saved some of them for the second time they came out, but I could be wrong as it's been almost a year since I played the game.

The only reason I don't organize by anything other than alphabetical is because it just looks wrong. Even right now, where I have it organized alphabetically by boxed games, then alphabetically by cart-only right after that, bothers me a little bit because it's not truly alphabetical.

I love FF1.My team was overpowered though, I'm thinking about replaying with lower levels.

Well, if you end up having to do them yourself this year then use TurboTax. It's all pretty self-explanatory. They'll just ask you a bunch of questions and then you'll fill out your tax/personal info. Been filing my own taxes since I was a teenager, it's pretty easy.

What manufacturer should I go for then? Willem is the only name brand I've really heard about...

Willem is fine if you know what you're doing, but the only instructions are hard to find and in Chinese. I thought I knew what I was doing, but there are more errors than successes.
    Wellon VP-280
Every other commercial burner is going to run you $500+ so...yeah.
Willem burns everything that pulls 5V, but fails on everything that pulls 12+. I wired up my wall wart, swapped the jumpers to 12V, AC and 6.2V...but I get the same errors as though I am working on just USB voltages. Then again, I am using a hacked software to emulate an on-board LPT port with Windows 7 64bit.

So instead you've made a compromise that you aren't even sure works properly?
