Just be careful you keep a save before committing to the final part of the main quest.
If you're going for achievements and alternate plots etc you'll need alt saves anyway.

But with the main quest it finishes the game...end credits.
It's like that even if you've installed the add-ons and haven't finished them

Unless the DLC is better than Fallout 3's, I probably won't even bother with them. I was not really impressed with 3's.

F3 DLC's were ok imo.
There's only really one that's cool in NV.
