Plenty of people never go there.
It's a small location 'cos the building has been nuked during the war, and there isn't much there really.
Except heaps of rad...it'd be more than 5 per second
I know you can't just walk to it on the surface, I'd have to look it up to refresh my memory.
Spoiler warning:
Not as bad as Vault 87 entrance (on the surface) though.
The radiation there is insane.
Spoiler warning:
I don't think you can use the surface entrance to access the actual vault anyway
But to get the Vault 87 entrance location on your map, you have to get near the surface entrance.
I've never accomplished it myself...the rads are ridiculous.
I would say it's over 9000, but I have no idea if that's accurate![]()
Spoiler warning:
Fallout wikia says:
Vault 87 entrance (maximum ~3999 rads/second), the highest level of radiation you will ever find in the game
Spoiler warning:
I know what you're saying, but you can't get the entrance on your world map by going in through that way.
You don't need the entrance location on your world map anyway, because the only way into the vault interior is the way you're doing it.
I know it sounds a little confusing...but the surface entrance isn't relevant to the plot or achievements.
lol no.
Even an advanced rad suit won't protect you completely from that amount of radiation.
You might have to spam rad-x and radaway as well as a suit of some sort...but I've never accomplished it (like I said, it's not something you need to do...I was just curious).
I never used the rad suits anyway, just decent power armour...probably Enclave Hellfire![]()
Spoiler warning:
I tend to drop heavy weapons instead of armour.
But that's just the way I play.
