The Hang: It's Officially Out

I'm going to buy Doom 3 for PS3 after I clear a couple more games from my backlog. I fucking love Doom. id has always been one of my favourite studios -- it's too bad they don't put out a lot of games anymore.

Doom 3 is a lot better than I remember it being. Not that it was ever a bad game, just... yeah. Dunno. My only slight gripe is 1 and 2 are the PC versions. I'd love a rerelease of the PS1 game.

New soundtrack, beefier weapon sounds, coloured lighting, Doom 2 enemies in Doom 1, some different/redesigned levels, just tons of little tweaks. I really wish it was on PSN or something. I wouldn't necessarily say it's better but it's by far my favourite version of the first two games.

... I might have to try this. Sounds like it would definitely be pretty good.

Then again, the only way I can really play Doom is on a PC. It's like my fingers know exactly what where to go every time.

Well ummmm *scratches back of head* let's just say this "enhanced" edition isn't really all that enhanced. However I did have fun for 2 hours trying to decide on a character of which I may scrap and do over
