•Depending on when your Wii was produced, Nintendo has altered the hardware to restrict certain things. The s/n can be found on one side of the Wii console, but only the first four or five characters matter. e.g. "LU30", "LEH64", "LAH44", "LKM32", "LJF74, etc.".
Also The Black Edition and Red Editions have restrictions.
