If it were me, I'd swing by and get the medical info, and take him. She can get the details later.

I can guarantee 100% that she won't let me do that 'cause she will want to be there herself.

In which case I could say "well then you better find a way to get him there without me."

In which case I'll never get to hear word for word what the doctor tells us about things he needs to do, what the exact problem is, etc. She tends to... gloss over details when relaying them to me, and she doesn't always have a good grasp on what something means. I'd rather put up with her for 2 hours and hear word for word from the doctor anything special that I need to do.

There are certain points where I'll stand my ground and force an ultimatum and certain points where it's not worth it. This is one of those times where it's not worth it.
