I definitely agree with the sentiment, but I also think I should be saving more money. Part of the reason I've gone on huge spending sprees lately is because I've been feeling depressed, and buying a new video game makes me feel good. I almost feel kinda guilty for spending that kind of money on a single game...almost. My dad told me the other day that I should stop spending money on myself and start saving a lot more. I just wanted to tell him that what's the point of working your whole damn life if you can't buy the things that you want? I just think that he's bitter because he used to be big into collecting comics and now the whole comic scene has gone down the toilet. While video games are retaining their value and for the most part increasing steadily.The main thing that actually concerns me for the future is making sure I can eventually buy a place to live, preferably a house (I'm working on some savings towards that) and to make sure I can retire (I'm... nowhere near prepared enough for that.
). I'm still a long way off, but I would like to get started towards that sometime soon.
