What generation of consoles would you, if you could, update with modern graphics or would you rather not and just let the past be the past?

For me it would be the 4th generation. There are lot of title's from Snes,Genesis etc. specially RPG's that deserve to have a HD remake.

I agree. I think a lot of rpg's like Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Secret of Mana would be good candidates for an upgrade.

Let them be. Besides minecraft, the majority of games Im playing are text adventures. There are...no graphics. What are you going to give me, a serif font?

Definitely the 1st gen of Pokemon games. These games with a 3D environment like the newer Zelda games (graphics wise) would be a blast.

yea i guess it'd just be better to let the games be. i've been enjoying watching games from where they started from and changing over the years i'm looking forward to seeing what games will be like in 10 years time or so. But i guess i would enjoy final fantasy 7 if they left the game exactly the same but redid the graphics state of the art that would be kinda cool.

Equinox. There was a game that was done in a similar style on the gameboy, but I would have liked to have seen a sequel to equinox. Just to hear some more atmospheric music from Tim Follin.

sequel to ' dragon's dogma' is a really fun game to play on ps3. would like to play a sequel to it perhaps in a new land with new monsters though with maybe a less bleak seeming city

Shenmue 3. Kind of a stale answer but it needs to happen.

I also wouldn't mind seeing a proper new Lunar game (lol Dragon Song doesn't count).

Zone of the Enders 3 as well.

Christ, the game only just came out 6 months ago. Give it time. Fairly certain that Capcom said they would be doing a sequel. Or at least indirectly implied that they would be.


Anyways. I would love to see a sequel for Jet Force Gemini without such a shitty ending. The picture I have in my head is a Metroidvania type game like Metroid Prime, with third-person view/controls like Ratchet & Clank. One giant, interconnected world where you can't just fly from one mission to the next and have to actually explore and backtrack once you find new items in order to help the denizens of a planet being ravaged by war. Whether it uses the Tribals again doesn't really matter.

Frontlines: Fuel of War is the only thing I can think of right now. I liked the first game's multiplayer which was kind of like battlefield.
