At the local kroger today, I saw the brand new Atari Flashback 4.
The only thing they added was wireless controllers.
I didn't notice an SD card slot, but I was distracted by the cartridges too
Right next to it on the shelf was a Flashback 4.

Totally used to work at one of those. Surprised they carry something that cool.

Bought one of those cheap air soft guns from there the other day. Christmas present for my lil step-bro. My mom was too excited about it.

    I found it:

There is also this, which looks like crap

According to the review, there is two versions: 1. with and 2. without an SD slot. This does not have a cart slot.

If I were to get a genesis player with no SD slot, I would grab an official Genesis instead. Although the cart slot will be newer in a clone console, they are mostly all technically emulated and almost always have compat issues. Get one that plays from SD.

I refused to stock those particular items

I don't worry about it. I'll even go buy pads when the wife needs them. I mean, it's obvious I won't be using them.

I'll open the pack while still in the store and stuff a couple up my nose

Eh, scratch that. I seriously hate the way pads smell. You'd think they'd find a way around that.

Reminds me of a time when I worked at Glens Markets. This cashier girl named Julie who no one liked thought everyone did, because we picked on her. So we went to the dollar section of the store where they had "Julie-Pads" which was the name of these dollar pads. We lined them all across the light fixture above here checkout lane where she couldn't reach them.

I used to work with a Julie, and I saw some Julie Pads at some odd store I happened to be in.
    Texted her a pic.
    She wasn't amused.

Speaking of which, why the hell are we carrying on two conversations in two threads?
