A little late but Master of Puppets as far as overall consistent quality is concerned (imo ymmv).
Pretty much everything after their self titled album ("the black album)" will sound radically different than their older material. While a good portion of it isn't necessarily bad, I think most fans of the band would agree they've more or less gone downhill in recent years.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
Yeah, Metallica's not the same. Unfortunately. I miss the old Metallica.
Here is a few more albums from a few other bands you should listen to if you are new to metal
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden (Self-titled)
Judas Priest - Sad Wings of Destiny
Judas Priest - Stained Class
Dio - Holy Diver
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Attack - Warriors of Time (rare, collectible item. You can listen to Attack music on YouTube for free)
Metal Church - Metal Church (self-titled)
I know A LOT more, but these are good starters.
Listening to Jorn, he's so awesome. Jorn - Young Forever
Check out this band Overlorde SR. They only released a demo back in 1987 (titled Medieval Metal), but they also recorded some other songs as the years went on by.
The song "Keeper of the Flame" was featured on Metal Massacre VIII, the eighth installment in the Metal Massacre compilation series.
Just recently Heaven & Hell Records reissued this entire demo (along with bonus recordings) on CD. It's decent USPM. (Not to be confused with the Overlorde of New Jersey.)
Here is the demo version of "Keeper of the Flame". Very cool if you're into early '80s Judas Priest.

This video is the most metal thing I've ever seen! Watch the ending, it's impressive.
Been on a Bathory kick, karrrnts
What is the most evil sounding metal song you ever heard? The intro to Hellhammer - Triumph of Death is very spooky but then I start to laugh when the singer makes those ridiculous chocking noises.
Check these boys out.
The movie was uploaded by me.
Loudness-Gotta Fight
Odin Photon Starlight Sailer
Go pick up Ghost's newest album "Infestissumam" great stuff, and if you haven't picked up their first album "Opus Eponymous" go do that too. Great band.

Been listening to Last Kingdom a lot lately. This is what power metal should be.
