A little of both. We're going to KY to see the boy sometime during vacation, and we're planning to go Black Friday shopping. Other than that, it's pretty much whatever we decide to do on any particular day.

As for the arcades, yeah, makes me sad....At some point around the late 80s/early 90s, they went from the dungeon-like atmosphere I was used to to places that had the 'ambiance' of the friggin Disney Store...places like 'Aladdin's Castle' and MALL arcades...blechhhh...

Yeah I'm quite the fan of the Phantasy Star series. I am into the merch as well. Just picked up guides for PS 2&3, still looking for the one for 4. Also just picked up two figurines of two characters from the series. Nei and Red Ring Rico. Would love to eventually get all of the official manga books and Japanese guides as well. Especially the Phantasy Star Compendium. Although those are very pricey on eBay.

That's about the time I remember going to the arcade was at the mall or some of the small ones sporadically scattered around town. Hell when I was really young Chuck E Cheese was actually a somewhat decent arcade. Before they got rid of the arcade machines and only had those ticket-pumping crap ones. I have fond memories as a child playing Moon Patrol, Mario Bros. and Battlezone at that Chuck E Cheese.

Don't know if you're planning on doing if yourself. but it shouldn't be too hard. If you want to you can send it to me and I can do it for you though. Only shipping and handling would be required.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it.
It shouldn't be too hard, Although I will be dropping quite a bit of money, for the security bit and small stuff.
I would send it to you if I had easy access (i.e. Driver's License) to the Post office.

You couldn't get your parents to drop it off for you or something? I have the security bits and everything needed. Except the battery, but I could order that really quickly. I wouldn't even charge you return postage or anything.

My parents are the kind that question almost everything. Don't need them asking why I'm sending things out in the mail

Heh, yeah, you don't need that kinda stress. Well let me know if you ever do want me to do it and can get to the post office.
