Installing free AVG, MalwareBytes and SpybotSAd. I've uninstalled Jdownloader, already killed off Babylon before it could annoy me.

Why Avg+other things?
Avg can work alone.
I'bm using free avast for 6 months.
My laptop is sent for repair.
I will install windows 8 on it, when it will be repaired.

Windows 8 sucks.

I've also got Security Essentials, but a friend (whom I trust implicitly) suggested FreeAVG and Spybot SAD, and another one suggested MalwareBytes. I like to have it as secure as possible.

Well I managed to kill Babylon before it caused any damage, wormed its way into Firefox and Chrome, thankfully IE9 stopped it and I was able to reset the Firefox stuff to default. I just deleted the stuff it added from Chrome.

Never heard of it. I'll be installing as many anti-virus guards on my PC and my dads and my moms as possible. I know a guy who likes Linux, and Mint is what he recommends, that or Ubuntu if it's got a good GPU. ofc you can just put Windows 7 back on it if you have the code and a DVD for it.
