*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

something in that pic stands out to me... meh, why bother pointing stuff out with that pic, its likely from the 80's-90's or older from the looks of it. nowadays with all the malware sprinkled (or dumped on in the case of some websites, those that have dozens of ads plastered across each page i mean) across the internet things can probably get far worse than they could've imagined back then.

so if the computer was unplugged and therefore, discharged of most electricity, how da ballz did this kid die?

because it seems like electrocution seems unlikely

unless he played with the outlet?

It's funny that I'm confident in repairing my own computer without gloves. I'm immune to electricity, that's right, my resistance to Thunder is naturally 100% IRL but it has droped to 80% last month.

Jazz, is that really possible? I usually never mess with the hardware (mostly because I am "not hardware literate" )
but I never thought of that. My PC has one of those extensions with an On/Off button, so everytime I shut it down I put
the extension cord on Off. There. Safe. Right?

Don't people convulse when they are being electrocuted? Or am I more insane than originally thought?
I think that makes sense, I mean, it might have been pulled during the electrocution...

Still, poor kid. What was his age again?

But is that remote explosion thingy possible? And what year is this newspaper from?

My computer has one too. In fact, all my previous computers had one.
Although my father usually forbids me to turn it off when he's charging his car's battery.

    Poor people who get electrocuted.

Clearly I lost my sense of humor.
Then again, I don't find death of real people or animals funny.
Unless it's insects, I have a morbid fear of those.

This is somewhat off-topic, but where does that phrase come from?
    EDIT:

That was the easiest answer. I meant in entirety, I've heard that phrase in the animated The Mummy as well.

    EDIT2:

Wasn't that thing in Ragnar's post called sarcasm?

I heard something about old rumors back in the 90s where hackers made a virus that supposedly "blew a computer up"

"Why tear into it to replace it for $20? You're taking your life into your own hands,"
That works means more computers for me to repair. XD
