Yeah, I made one but it was basically a bust. I have a thread on how to do it too, but I cut it short becuase of GG limitations.
If you want a game larger than 64KBs (yes, 64KBs) you are going to need to use one of the very few cartridges that have a designated mapper chip. Most of the cartridges, as well as the one I sadly used, have the mapping logic magically built into the ROM chip, which is incredibly uncommon for a company to do.

I will find you the list of worthy games in a second, if you don't use one of these, its useless.

Here is the short known list:
    Garfield Caught in the Act
    Virtua Fighter Animation
    Sonic Blast
Jurassic Park - The Lost World
    Lunar Sanposuru Gakuen (import)

This is the chip that needs to be one the board and here is the guy I spoke to when figuring it all out. Here is my tut:
    http://www.epforums.org/showthread.p...egear+tutorial

Even though you may use the 49f040 chip, only 64KBs will be readable by the GG without the mapper. I never found one while I had the time to work on it.
I also just noticed that I am missing several pics taht I had prepared. Let me see if I can find them...

I'm officially good enough at my job to know when someone is hustling the system (legally, of course).

    Sweet man, thanks!

That should help a ton! I don't even mind spending a little extra on a donor cart. Because I intend to only do it for my own personal use. I assume the Lunar game is the only donor with that particular mapper chip I can use that also has a battery. Time to read your tutorial and the info on the site you linked. Then off to eBay to look for donors.

Gee, I really don't know about save ram/batteries when it comes to GG. Maybe, maybe not.

I could definitely wire your crib, but unless there is a work order, you won't actually have service.

Hmm, that middle one looks like Daisenryaku or something. BTW, I now have 2 copies of Garfield Caught in the Act on the way for less than $10. Couldn't find any copies of Lunar on eBay though. Probably not too common.

Also mistakenly bid on a Lost Planet GG cart. Bid on it before finding out how cheap GCitA is. Hopefully someone outbids me. Oh well, if I do end up winning said auction I'll probably just donate it to you. Then you could finish your tutorial.

Daaaamn. My spot has pre-wired units, but we pay for our own shit. I only have internet. I don't watch enough TV to make having it worth the money. Only Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and The Walking Dead.

    NOTHING. ELSE.

Oh wait, and Revolution (available on Hulu).

    According to this guide: http://www.digital-circuitry.com/DOC..._Cartridge.pdf

I can use also use a Phantasy Star SMS board if I need a save battery. Then just piggyback it to a GG cart. It's not very pretty though and wouldn't be a very good candidate for a standard repro. Still, very interesting and useful information.

I never watched television until I was given it, but now it just seems to be on in the background.

    Okay, cool man.
Yup, its pretty ugly but if you bought one of these:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/MASTER-SYSTE...item25679fad58
You could theoretically bypass the ugly.
