I asked becuase I bought all of my monitors broken so that I could replace components and fix them.

ok, lets hear it.
Have the screens been cracked or do they simply not power on? If they are not cracked, then you can easily replace some components on the power inverter board and have them running again. Thats what I do; I by monitors at a price just above shipping and fix them for myself.

Everybody I've asked says monitors aren't worth fixing. That may have been referring to CRT, tho.
