You'd think. But this is what puts me off PS3:

Stupid install times on every game, ever.
Stupid update times on every game ever, which then leads into an install, that takes forever. By the time it's ready to play, you've totally lost interest in actually playing the damn thing.
Controller isn't a patch on the 360 controller.
Online sucks arse.
Slow as hell loading times, because Blurays are slooooow.

I... haven't once had install issues with new games. Possibly I'm just lucky, but seriously, every game I own, with the exception of the one I hate anyway, hasn't had to install anything, including patches.

Also, I prefer (note that I said PREFER, not made a statement of fact) the PS3 controller over the XBox 360. Not sure why.

Can't comment on the online though, never played it, and most game's I've got are fine for loading. Possibly you're just doing it wrong.
