That's fine. I don't particularly want to be called Tatum. :'D Hi!

Yep, it's fun! Only just made it to my dorm yesterday, though. Before that I was with my brother in Osaka, and then a hotel. Yesterday I met my tutors (basically two girls assigned to show me around and help me out over the first few days), who were super-sweet. I also spoke waaaaay more Japanese than I'm used to. By the end of the day I was pretty tired.

Good! Although this dormitory really is yucky. It's nice and big and has good facilities, but somebody reaaaaally couldn't be bothered to clean it properly. The floor is sticky, and after about an hour of walking around in my socks, they had a thick layer of muck on them. Walking around in my shoes now until I can get a mop. :'D
Gross! The dorm my ex-wife used to share with several other girls had a FILTHY bathroom....went in there one day with a stiff brush and a gallon of bleach.
(Males werent permitted in this particular dorm, but wifey had a single while the other girls were paired in 2s, so I could basically 'hide out' in her room and slip in and out when the RAs left for the night, heheh...)

I'd enjoy riding a bike again, but with my bad spine and being 300+ lbs, its not really realistic.

The only thing I'm really after these days would be GB/GBA games and the tiny SD chips, dude...and maybe newer NP mags. As for NES, I have a small pile of stuff; decks, few controllers, small stack of dirt-common games, etc. I have only one real NES guy locally, and he only wants 'higher end' stuffs, so...
(He's the guy that told me about the screw-variants...he bought my Duck Tales II, Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, and a few others...)

One of my friends causes a perpetual mess. I have to settle on 'livable' cleanliness when I go over there or I'd be at it for at least a couple of days.

I'm glad to hear that you're having a good time so far! Sounds pretty tiring, being in an all-new country. I couldn't even imagine, I'm pretty sheltered when it comes to traveling. Never even left the US myself.

    No crashes though i hope?

I feel ya. Sometimes I've almost snapped when I seen some of the rooms my friends call "clean".
Maybe it's borderline OCD with me

How about cash through a Paypal payment?

Well, I still do need some commons. If you have anything that's on my want lists I'll gladly buy it off of you.

Or you don't like living in a sty . I'm going to bring a full array of cleaning supplies one of these days. I'm curious to see if the carpeting can actually be cleaned and the rest of the flooring could do with mopping .

What is this 'cash' you speak of? I have plenty of this and no need for more.

    NOTHING to swap, eh?

....And never left the US? Hmmmm...I havent left North America, but I have been to every state, lived in several, and also Canada and Mexico many times over.
Need to get OUT more, dude - Being sedentary breeds xenophobia.

GSB - Please clarify 'acts black' - ?

Only a result from actually using my brain.
Plus I think acting poor is more like it.
