There was mention of a possible HD release a few years back on XBL for RE2. Among other rumors. It's been going on for ages. Not to mention this generation of gamers don't even know the game. It's like talk about FF7 remakes, never going to happen.

Ah, they were enjoyable but they haven't aged too well.

It's funny cos Capcom recently mentioned they'd remake RE2 if there were enough interest.

They should remake it to be an action game, fans would love it

I'm inclined to agree with that much.

I'm not sure how I'd feel if RE went just straight action. I like to think that RE4 had found a decent balance between the action and horror. But I felt 5 was too action-y. Or maybe I'm just a Leon fan boy.

I'm hoping that 6 will be able to strike that balance again. Though from what I've played Chris's segments are all action, all day.

I loved the first ones and I still like them. When I played them I thought they were the best thing ever. But now playing them, the cameras, the archaic movements.. is understanding the true meaning of the horror part in survival horror
