As long as it's not on the level with Shenmue II, I can live with it.

Okay, got to go now to re-download something.
Stupid Internet connection caused the ".zip" folder to be corrupt.

And the fact, it is pretty nice to hear some talent, even if it's not what you expect Sonic's voice to sound like.
I think they should have kept the VAs, if only for continuity.

Well, like you, I barely notice some of the changes for VAs.
But sometimes it's for the best, the new VA for sonic is doing just fine in my book.
    Older character = older voice.

Heck, I didn't know Dan Green (Yugi/Yami Yugi) was Inspector Wizer (Slayers Revolution) until I saw the credits. In summary, I don't think the 4kids VAs as as awful as everyone makes them out to be, and I'm happy to get shows dubbed.

Yeaaaah, even I couldn't manage to to play through Shenmue II with the English audio, and I played through Chaos Wars .

I say it's half and half, remember the translations and edits were heavy to Sonic X.
Either that, or the show wasn't too good to begin with

I only played the first one, but I couldn't imagine playing it in English even with a good dub. The setting is soooo Japanese that it would just sound weird to me hearing everyone speak English. The second one is Hong Kong though, right? So I suppose English is a little more appropriate there. Just a shame the dub is... er... terrible. :'D

I don't even want to know what YGO/YGO GX are like in Japanese, I imagine the answer is 'unwatchable'.

    Probably.
I'll never know that's for sure

I like the dub for the first game. Terrible doesn't even begin to describe the second. I think mixed English would've suited the setting on II just fine, being Hong Kong .

You definitely need to play Shenmue II when you can .
