The Wii's gimmicky nature burned itself out a fair while ago. The Wii U just looks like it's Nintendo trying to deny that fact. "It's still relevant, and look, we added an extra screen... thing!"

As Zero Punctuation said about New Super Mario Brothers U: "Plus a fifth player can use the controller to create platforms for the others. Five players!? I'm lucky if I can get one mate over!"

(Paraphrased, because I'm tired). It's to the point though. I don't see the point to the silly thing, and I doubt I ever will. I'll stick with my PS3.

I won't be getting the Wii U.
It'd have to be cheap and easy to pirate games for me to even consider getting it sometime in the future.
The Wii is a pretty reliable console compared to the PS3 and 360.
I already have a Wii and a 360 (plus older stuff of course)...and I'm still in no rush to get a PS3 just for the few exclusives I'd want to play
