Ah. In that case, it's quite solid as bombs go.

    WOW. SERIOUSLY?

    HOLY SHIT.

Best part is that it's in colors that need it.

Looks like an allstar. Most of the time it's strictly better than O-ring and O-ring has been an allstar...

Yeah it's definitely a monster. The fact that it's in blue and white will give those colors a much needed tool box for standard. I wonder how it will affect the playability not being able to hit other detention sphere (for obvious reasons)? Probably make mirrors awkward.

Yeah that could get crazy. Cause O-ring is in M13 so players will have access to both for at least a year.

UW also has that new uncounterable wrath, so control could definitely be a thing.

Oh god, strict control, alive again in Standard? Only in Ravnica. Now we just need some fatty to drop.

Too hard to tell until it's legal and people brew around. Innistrad is still around and it's very aggressive.

Yeah, I'm not sure what that set gave up in terms of good removal. I'm seeing a shell of Sphere, O-ring, that Izzet bounce spell and other stuff, but it needs more stuff before it's even plausible. Still need a solid fatty, card fixing, SOMETHING in the 2cmc slot, something besides wrath in the 4cmc, and a reliable finisher.

    Reprinted Court Hussar wouldn't hurt.

I'm not sure if you would want it over Mindbreak Trap in your board in Legacy but it's a cool card and effect.

Yeah, no, Mindbreak Trap is probably strictly better. I don't want to pay any amount of mana for counterspells in legacy, though the fact that it's uncounterable is nice, but I still need mana for other things.

Exactly. I don't think the card will see much play.

    No spoilers today.
