This is the car I long for. Only a 1.6 as well, don't see why insurance has to be so expensive for anything >1.2

There's no reference to a cert...you ask the dude, and he says he just finished the mod and he's selling the car.
More often than not you're buying somebody else's problems (a half arsed job most likely)...otherwise they would've been driving it around for quite some time after modding it.

Not saying it's always the case

If you were here, you'd be on P's and have power to weight ratio restrictions.
So you could reg/insure something better than 1.2's...but nothing fantastic

Oh Jesus, you can have anything for a first car over here. P plates are totally up to you if you want to display them or not. Definitely fucking not!

I'd go the classic car route but I'd quite like ABS and PAS. For my first car at least, I've never driven anything without.

I thought older cars were a bit difficult for you to insure?
If not, why not just get an old Swift?
    A 3cyl one

Actually, a first gen Subaru Rex would be ideal for you.

They're supposed to be cheap to insure as long as they're classed as a 'classic'.

Cars registered before 1973 (I think) are also road tax exempt. But with terrible conditions in the UK, as far as storing cars go. They're rare as fuck.

"Third generation" is passable. But the size/engine size is laughable.

The later models seem a bit more interesting.
Notably the 658 cc supercharged variant

Chinese Yunque (Guizhou Aircraft Industry Corporation) built the second generation Subaru Rex under license as the Yunque GHK 7060 between 1991 and 2005. There were also GHK 7060A 'Free Wind' and GHK 7071A 'WOW' iterations, featuring interesting bodykits
    "Free Wind" lmao.
