I have two games that I was wondering what the names were for them? I used to go to an arcade in Chinatown New York City and they had alot of obscure games in there. I used to play this one outer space shooter and the aliens were like big bright butterflies and the machine was quite loud. The other game I used to play was like a western style game. The guy was riding a horse and riding along a railroad track. You could shoot and when you wanted to dodge stuff you hit a button and you'd spin around under the horse and back up again. I know it sounds weird....but it was a cool game. Any ideas?????? Thanks in advance for your help.....
Hi tcountry627
I don't know about the shooter, maybe you could give more details (scrolling, approximate year...). About the western game it's probably Sunset Riders.

Hi Promizoulin....thanks for the answer. That might be it. I'll download it and check it out. The space game I was talking about was in the arcade probably in the early to mid 80's. Just bright butterfly looking spaceships....and very beepy and screechy. I have no idea what company put it out. I'm sure my added info doesn't help a bit. Thanks again for your help.....![]()
Old Game I cannot remember?
It is a PC Game because the loading or installation screen of the game is a revolver next to a keyboard and a monitor.. Its a 3d-ish game and with shooting and a little bit of strategy. I'm pretty sure you navigate your character with your mouse (I could be wrong) and it kinda reminds me of metal gear solid 1 (ariel view). Anyone can help me out? I know its not much of a lead but I really want to replay this game. I played it when I was a kid in an old computer. Safe enough to say that it doesn't require high graphic demand (not even close). Its set in a pretty modern looking world reminds me of a setting between cops/bad guys..
it looks like this but it isn't this one http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...unkie/ss17.jpg
Oh and including all the luts/items you pick up, you can find porn magazines... I hope this helps LOL

Hello, dear epforums members!
Okay, so. I remember there was a game I played about 5-8 years ago on PC. It was basicly a third person racing\shooter, where you played as two guys, that are (if i'm right) mercenaries of some sort, riding a jeep with guns installed on them. I believe you could also choose cars and weapons, though I might be wrong.
I remember that the first mission of that game was a race and those two guys (riders) have joked about alcohol of some sort (it had some mature jokes).
Most of the game was played in this desert location.
Also, one thing that could get you on track, is that there was a slowly spinning gear near the name in the main menu, which, if pressed, could be turned around and it was making those "DJ sounds", like wub-wub-wub
I hope you can help meThanks in advance!
Alright, semi old game here. This game was for the gamecube, and I remember almost nothing about it. IT was one of my favorite games though, and I remember having to climb up a giant tower that had locks inside, and when I found a locked door you had to go back outside the tower and venture into the world to find the key.
No it was older than Galaga....and definatly from Japan or China. The Aliens spaceships were 3 times the size of the Galaga ships brightly colored and reminded me of butterflys.
Amazing thread here. Hoping somebody remembers this one. It's either NES or SNES. I rented it once or twice, so the details are fuzzy. It's a turn-based RPG. It seems like early in the game the main character finds a space ship and takes off. The place where he lands, they decide to plant a village. I remember being sent to find a farmer for the village, I think. You go find the guy you need, but have to fight this huge giant. (His name was Goliath or Samson, maybe?) You have no hope of beating him. I remember you could find some sort of shrink ray and turn him into goliath jr., making him much easier to beat.
I might be mixing a couple games together; I was only 6 or 7 at the time. Any help would be great.
