Nearly as bad as the SB Barina Cabrio I saw recently (I think that'd be a Corsa B).

There's no way I could have a car called a Carlton. I don't care how good it is.
It's a suburb of Melbourne...there's beer and a football team iirc. Probably loads of other stuff.

    No thanks

Even though it's like a £15k Ferrari? Shit does 180MPH+.
Despite looking like a pretty bog standard car, although they do stand out a mile away if you're doing over 100/to car enthusiasts.

The three things I mentioned are older than that dude, and are more likely to spring to mind over here if I had that car

Do those Carlton's have V8 Commodore bits?
Why not have an old 370BHP+ Commodore for less than $20,000au ?

Ah they only do 176MPH. I exaggerated a little.

Hmmm, just the differential from a commodore, and a gearbox from a corvette.

Honestly, it'd be cheaper here to have a Commodore...it'd have to be modified but there are heaps around.
    Or maybe even a Falcon.

    Easy to get parts too.

I actually saw a straight 6 Falcon a while back that was heavily modified with twin turbos.
That kind of thing is completely legal for me, and not difficult to insure.

Rare as fook now those Lotus Carltons.

Most good retro cars are in enthusiast hands, or are in shit condition/in barns hidden away.

Most cars were scrapped as the government were all "Scrap your car and we'll give you a new one!"

    That's still fast dude.
I've only ever done around 250km/h or so in any vehicle myself.
It gets hairy above 200 imo
