Presumably, it should have been "ok" immediately after you paid retail price. We put a lot, if not too much work into these things to make them only ok...

I cannot have more that 100GBs loaded now...after a year of owning the HDD. I bought it specifically for this purpose over a Black Friday deal for a 50. Even at a dime per Gig, I feel wasteful...If I had the time, I would swap the big boy out for a few 80's or a 120. But thats too much work if the 500 won't do me any good elsewhere and I dont care to play it anymore...
