I liked high school. Of course it consisted of me giving homework the finger while I played Magic...

I had a good time too. I started my Freshman year in California and got to go to a very ethnically diverse high school that was composed of many different buildings: you usually had to go outside and to a different structure for each class. I was first introduced to anime that year. Then I moved to Wisconsin and went to a more traditional high school that was all one 3-story building. I preferred that one in a way because it was more like the schools I had seen in movies growing up.

The school in CA might still have the yearbook I ordered from them in '94 and never picked up.

It's not too bad honestly, during the training you'll want to kill yourself. But once you get out of BCT and into AIT or even your duty station, you'll reflect on it, and probably think it was a lot of fun.

I kinda want to kill myself now for pushing my weak limits (but I really don't want to be dropped while in boot camp), I've heard stories.
