Sometimes I hear the 'Ghost House' music (Vanilla Secret?) from SMW in my head as I fall asleep.

When I was sitting an exam for Ancient Greek History, I wrote a little song to the first level theme of Super Mario World that contained all the important dates for the course to help me remember.

I grew up with Sonic mostly, and I tend to forget how much I like the Mario games until I see someone playing one.

I prefer the Marios to the Sonics, but both series are grand. Never got that into Mario 64, but SMW and the newer version for DS are sooooo lovely.

You should go and give the 64 version a go. It's really good, expansive, and the music.

I still haven't played much of any of the 3-D Marios (my secret shame!), but I love all the 2-D ones I've played. Don't own the DS one, but a friend had it on her DS one day when we were at a cafe, and we played a little of it together. Seemed cute.
