Ah, this would be a good opportunity for a quick question. I'm not entirely sure of the sentence-final もん, and how it's supposed to be used or what it really represents. I figured it was a more colloquial way of もの, and you could go about saying something like そんなもんじゃねえよ！！and so on. But apparently it has some other uses as well?

I think the more skillful you become at Japanese, the more headache inducing it becomes to read it without kanji and kana. :'D Your eye is too used to jumping between the kanji in a given sentence to break it down, and you're not used to distinguishing between words that are read the same but have different meanings, because normally kanji does that for you. I think I actually find it harder to read something like the SNES Final Fantasy IV (all kana) than any modern game now. :'D
