She was. :'D I think quite a lot of people in the far east aren't quite clear on exactly what constitutes a vegetarian diet, though, because it's just not really a thing there. Like... you'll buy "vegetarian" dishes from some Japanese restaurants that have big bits of meat in them, because the restaurant owners think "vegetarian" means "with a lot of vegetables". And pretty much any dish will use fish stock, even dishes that claim to be for vegetarians. Suffice to say you can pretty much give up on being vegetarian there if you ever plan on eating at restaurants. :'D
