well, first off the hero is more generic than the D00Mguy, second (part of the first) we don't know what gender the hero is. we have no explanation of why the hero is in a wooded fenced enclosure, or WHY there's a Slender male gorgon running around!

It's different from the original Cave Story.
It's for PC.
There aren't mods for the 3DS and Wii versions of Cave Story, though.
