Roommate is fine. She's gone for most of the day (she works evenings, I work mornings, etc), but it's still been fun. Watched movies for a few hours last night after kiddo went to sleep and chit-chatted. It's nice having someone in the house to talk to sometimes.

Also, good luck with your CL find. I have the same box, although not in nearly as good of condition, and it's missing the manuals and plastic wrap and whatnot. Got it off a friend of mine back in high school when she found out I was collecting NES stuff. Still has all the styrofoam and everything.

The same kind of thing happened to me with the big auction I just bought (which, according to tracking, cleared customs last night ): was eyeing it up for about two weeks, but the price wasn't right. They reposted it once after knocking $100 off the BIN, then knocked another $50 off. That's when I bought it.

How are things going on your end?

I love your passion and enthusiasm for NES collecting. I think if I was to do so, it would be the N64 for me. But the games being on cartridges and in cardboard boxes just ruins it. It's rare you find the boxes in good condition online - if you do they're expensive as hell.

I'd love to collect all the coloured N64s, boxed and in mint condition. I think I'd display the consoles in a glass display cabinet.
