Good point on the sound limitations, but I still prefer SNES (blame the nostalgia goggles) Many beat-em ups felt right at home, and personally, I would play CV4 over Bloodlines, but that's me and nostalgiaSNES had RPGs and better exclusives (though I'd take Castlevania Bloodlines and Contra Hard Corps over CV4 and Alien Wars any day). Going back over the the Genny's library it really did excel at platformers, shooters, beat 'em ups or anything fast paced. Pure preference but I also find multi-platform games usually play a lot better on the Genesis.
Plus I absolutely adore the music on the Genesis. SNES had a great sound chip but I can't stand that echo effect so many devs used so they could get away with shorter samples. A necessary evil due to cartridge size limitations, but so many games sound like they're in a bathroom.

Definitely. Price setting/fixing league of evil is all over the SNES.
Part of the reason I picked DC to collect (besides just loving the console for no apparent reason) is that the average price per game isn't all that high.

Each system had their pros and cons. Each system had better developed games of a particular genre. It just depends on your tastes.
