    I recently bought my mother an Ipod, next time she annoys me ill be like yeah, have fun with that Ipod. Or something.. I didn't think this through.

    I was born 1989. The movie came out 1984. I think we do have a VHS in the house, I just never watched it. All I know of it is "kid learns karate by doing dojo master's chores", "wax on, wax off", and something about bullies.

    Ah. Guess you had to be there, eh? I'm sure it would be seen as 'corny' by many folks of your age bracket, but if you strip-away the 80s cheese and sillyness, it has a lot of heart...and good writing...like a 'Rocky' story for the younger set...

    My nephew is 20 something, and a pretty tough-skinned dude, and he enjoys the hell out of it...ya never know..

    My older brother loves Who Framed Rodger Rabbit. Stems from when he was a toddler. He'd take the VHS, put in in the VCR, hit play, finish it, rewind, hit play... loop ad-nauseum. Drove mom nuts. "[Son], not again..." "Again! Wodja Wabbih!"
