Note: streaming audio doesn't work...but this only usually means some in-game music won't play.
The games themselves run with no lag or anything.
There's only one NGC game I haven't been able to run on it: Ikaruga.
And you can still use WODE with a softmod Wii if you want to

Well, that Wii Motion Plus helps make the sword movement feel real enough. Plus they have pre-mapped control schemes you can switch to.
I only know this because I've played it a lot.

I've finished TWP on the Gamecube, it was a bit too easy, but enjoyable. I've played and finished most Zelda games, but I can't get into the DS or Wii versions because of the control systems.

I understand the DS and Wii control scheme gripes.
I think you'd like how SS feels overall, But having the Classic/Gamecube control hookup would make it awesome.

I've got SS but haven't played it yet (huge backlog atm, and only really playing 360 games right now).

I can understand why people don't like using the Wiimote, but it doesn't bother me really...I adapted pretty quickly a long time ago.
Of course I do use a 'cube controller if possible
